TRACK or TREAT
On Saturday, *October 24th, the Springfield Redevelopment Authority, Amherst Railway Society, and CTrail celebrate Spooky Season at their 4th annual Track-or-Treat event.
The Track-or-Treat train will leave Springfield at 10:00 am. During the ride, families will be entertained by the antics of Maggie the Railroad Clown. Then, upon arrival in Hartford, passengers will switch to a second CTrail train for the ride back to Springfield, returning around 11:38 am.
When the passengers descend from the rail platform, back into Union Station’s main concourse, they’ll be greeted by a treat trail, manned by Union Station tenants, vendors, and community volunteers, including:
- The Downtown Springfield YMCA
- Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory
- Dress for Success Western MA
- Amherst Railway Society
- Appleton Corporation
- Hampden County Juvenile Probation Dept.

*On Sunday, 10/25, Track-or-Treat reverses, beginning and concluding in Hartford.
